Get the best sound with SoundFonts.

SoundFonts are sampled audio waveforms recorded using real instruments.
Modern versions of Windows have 'Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth'. While ARPTON SF™ can use it by default, the sound quality is quite average and can easily be improved by using SoundFonts (files with extension .sf2).

Up to 10 additional .sf2 files can be added to ARPTON SF™. No installation required. Just find and download .sf2 file from Internet, save it to a folder where you can find it later and add it to ARPTON SF™ using Menu "SoundBanks".

Different sondbanks can sound quite different and can have some SoundFonts (Instruments) that sound good and other that aren't as strong. Using ARPTON SF™ is the best and easiest way for listening and comparing of different SoundFonts.
