HOW TO DOWNLOAD ARPTON SF™ for WINDOWS
ARPTON SF™ does not contain any malicious software.
If any security warning appears when you download and install ARPTON SF™, just ignore it (click 'More Info', 'Run', 'Run Once', 'Run anyway', 'Allow', 'Yes', 'OK', etc., depending on a type of security warning).
Downloadable file 'ARPTON_SF3EXE.zip' contains a basic file 'ARPTON_SF3EXE.exe' for versions ARPTON_SF_3.1.1 and later.
Basic file will remain the same, no matter what version is current.
Installed ARPTON SF will be auto-updated to the latest version during a first run.
ARPTON_SF3EXE.exe:
- made for "Windows"
- made as a self-extractable file which contains a JRE 1.8.0_172 (32-bit)
- does not make any changes to your computer
- self-installed to a folder 'C:\ARPTON SF' and creates an icon on a Desktop to launch the program
- auto-runs after installing and autoupdates itself to the latest version
- folder 'ARPTON_SF' can be moved to any another location of your choice
- folder 'ARPTON_SF' can be easily deleted
DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING
=============================
- Click on a link 'ARPTON_SF3EXE.zip'
and download file ARPTON_SF3EXE.zip to any folder on your computer.
- Leave your computer connected to Internet (for automatic update).
- Unzip the downloaded file 'ARPTON_SF3EXE.zip' to any folder on your computer.
- Double click on file 'ARPTON_SF3EXE.exe' to run an installer.
- ARPTON SF™ will be installed to 'C:\ARPTON_SF' folder.
- Shortcut 'ARPTON SF' and Internet shortcut for 'www.arpton.com' will be added to Desktop.
- ARPTON SF™ will start and check for updates.
- If new updates are available, ARPTON SF™ always automatically updates itself and restarts with the latest updated version.
- To launch ARPTON SF™, click 'ARPTON SF' icon on a Desktop.
You can move 'ARPTON_SF' folder to any other location on your PC, or even to another computer.
To update a Desktop shortcut, delete it, and run ARPTON SF™ from a new location (run 'ARPTON_SF\run.bat').
The Desktop shortcut will be recreated, pointing to new location.
NOTE:
- ARPTON SF™ does not make any changes to your computer.
- Does not requires JAVA to be installed on your PC.
- Can be deleted from your PC by deleting the folder 'ARPTON_SF'.
LAUNCHING
===========
During a first run the installer creates a Desktop Shortcut (icon 'ARPTON SF') and launches ARPTON SF™ automatically.
After that, launch ARPTON SF™ using the 'ARPTON SF' icon on a Desktop.
Every time when ARPTON SF™ starts, it checks our website for updates.
If new updates are available, ARPTON SF™ updates itself and restarts with the latest updated version.
